Journee pricing is built around a simple idea: pay once for a pack of letters or subscribe and pay letter by letter, pick how often they arrive, add any extras you'd like, and that's it. No surprise charges. Here's how it breaks down.

You choose how many letters your child will receive. The more letters in a pack, the lower the per-letter price.

5 letters — £12 per letter (£60 total). A short story arc that immerses your little hero in a new world for a few weeks.

8 letters — £9 per letter (£72 total). A longer story arc with real momentum, twists and attachment to the world.

10 letters — £8 per letter (£80 total). A fully developed storyline with a proper beginning, middle and end. This is the customer favourite and the best per-letter value.

Subscription: an open-ended story, paid letter by letter at £8 a letter weekly, £9 fortnightly or £10 monthly. The story is told in seasons of about ten letters and carries on from one season to the next.

Every pack includes a personalised adventure letter with your child's name on the envelope, six to eight beautifully printed pages on premium paper, and full-colour illustrations throughout.

When you check out, you choose how often letters arrive: weekly, fortnightly or monthly. Fortnightly keeps anticipation high without feeling rushed. Weekly suits faster readers, monthly works well as a slow-burn keepsake. You can change cadence later from your account.

Add-ons chosen at checkout apply to every letter in your pack, and you can also add them later, to any letter.

Audiobook (£2) — A professionally narrated audio version of each letter. Loads onto a Toniebox, Yoto Player, or any device that plays audio. Great for car journeys and wind-down time.

Custom Stickers (£1.50) — Three custom stickers per letter, reflecting characters and elements from the story.

Authentic Wax Seal (£1) — A real wax seal on the envelope. Adds a noticeable bit of magic to the moment your child opens the letter.

Digital Version (£0.50) — A PDF backup of every letter, available in your account, in case you want to keep a digital copy alongside the physical one.

Interactive Story (£1) — Engage with the story between letters via your account. Your child's choices at the end of each letter influence the direction of the next one.

Both. A pack of 5, 8 or 10 letters is paid once. The subscription is paid letter by letter, and you can pause it, change the rhythm or stop from your account. Every pack is its own complete story arc. If your child loves a pack and wants more at the end, you can buy another pack at any time.

There aren't any. The price you see at checkout (the pack or subscription price, plus any add-ons you've chosen and postage outside the UK) is the final price. Postage is free in the UK; to other countries it is £2.70 / €3 / $3.50 a letter, shown before you pay. No surprises later.

If you'd like to set up Journee for more than one child, get in touch before you buy. We're happy to offer a special rate for families running multiple stories at once. Drop us an email at [email protected] or message us via the live chat and we'll sort it.

Payments are processed by Stripe, the same provider used by many of the world's largest companies. We never see or store your card details on our own servers. After purchase, you can update your delivery address, payment method and child profile details anytime from your account dashboard, or by emailing us.

Because every letter is personalised to your specific child, we can't accept traditional returns once a letter has been produced. That said, if anything arrives damaged or isn't quite right, please get in touch and we'll make it right — usually a replacement letter, sometimes a refund for the affected portion, depending on the situation.

Email us at [email protected], message us via the chat in the corner of the site, or check the rest of our help centre. Full pricing details and the latest pack options live at journee.club/pricing.
